Namibia, Joomla! Day - local interest, planning, support

Good day everyone

I have been in contact with Sean who runs the Joomla! Days in South Africa (www.joomla.org.za). He asked me to find out whether there will be local interest in a Joomla! Day for Namibia round about the 7th of June, 2008.

We have also been in contact with Alex Kempkens from Joomla.org.

I would love to hear what you guys think.

Hi Johan, I know it is a bit late but I , for one, appreciate your effort with Joomla. I have been developing with PHP for quite some time now.Joomla which is mainly php based is a very stable platform. This wysiwyg platform helps guys that do not have any programming experience to quickly "develop" a website and maintain it on their own. Keep me up2date if you ever try do host an event like this again.
